Today we have the amazing and multi talented actor Catherine Taber. On the show we talk about her new film, "Havens End", her long career in the Star Wars universe, making choices for roles, her faith and much more.
Georgia native Catherine “Cat” Taber has made numerous comedic and dramatic appearances in television and film, both in front of the camera and behind the microphone, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Just like Heaven, Jane the Virgin and The Force Awakens.
Taber has spent much of her career “in a galaxy, far, far away” with leading roles in Knights of the Old Republic, The Old Republic, The Force Unleashed, Star Wars: Detours, Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: Uprising. She is best known as Padme Amidala in the Emmy award winning series Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Disney+.
In addition, Catherine has portrayed memorable characters in some of today’s most beloved and popular gaming franchises including The X-Men, Metal Gear Solid, and Final Fantasy (NAVGTR Nom).
Taber lent her talents to one of her favorite charities The Humane Society of the United States, for the film A Pigs Tail and founded the organization Games for Soldiers, which sends video games and comic books to U.S. Soldiers deployed to the Middle East.
Currently, Cat can be found opposite Patton Oswalt as the female Jesse in Minecraft StoryMode on Netflix, as the eldest of the Loud sisters, Lori, on Nickelodeon’s hit series The Loud House, the indie thriller Haven’s End and The Walking Dead World Beyond on AMC.
