Actor Jacob Hopkins Talks "To Your Eternity" Voice Over Work Acting and Much More
Hopkins got his start in the entertainment industry at the young age of five and landed his first film role opposite Stephen Moyer and Paul Bettany in the film Priest. His big break came when he was cast as Vampire Authority member Alexander Drew in the hit series True Blood. Soon after, Hopkins started appearing on The Goldbergs in his long-running portrayal of Chad Kremp. He is also no stranger to the world of voiceover.
A huge cartoon fan, he was thrilled to star as the voice of his favorite character “Gumball” in Cartoon Network’s hit animated series The Amazing World of Gumball for four seasons. Hopkins has also made a name for himself in the anime genre. He currently lends his voice to the lead character Fushi, an immortal being who takes on the form of a deceased nameless boy, in the anime series To Your Eternity. The show is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name. It is streaming now on HBO Max and Crunchyroll and you can watch a clip here. The show’s popularity hasn’t gone unnoticed as it has been renewed for Season 2.
