Today on the Brett Allan Show, we sit down with actor Matthew Delemater about his upcoming film, "The Tender Bar" staring Ben Affleck, George Clooney and directed by Clooney as well. Also, his entrance into acting, being a father, beer, flyfishing, his story telling journey and so much more. Enjoy!
Delamater plays the role of "Joey D," opposite Ben Affleck, Christopher Lloyd and George Clooney. Delamater who plays one of the denizens of the bar and gets the opportunity to teach the ways of being an "American Man" to J.R. (boy). The Tender Bar tells the story in the 1970's of J.R., a boy growing up in Long Island, who seeks out father figures among the patrons at his 'Uncle Charlie's' (Affleck) bar due to his upbringing, where his mother struggles to provide him with those opportunities and/or being present with her son. Set to come out limited, December 17th 2021, nationwide December 22nd and globally Jan 7th on Amazon Prime.
